Newest tank with plant substrate (first time ever done)

I already mentionned that I wanted to have another tank that would be bigger for my bettaboy. Well I finally did it! after cleaning my second hand glass tank I decided to buy a special substrate for the plants and another substrate that goes above the first one. I never worked with plant substrate before so I first looked up how much I would need for a 30 liter tank. after some research I decide to go for tropica substrate.

After that, I used JBL Manado natural substrate.

Make everything flat, and then, add water with a little cup. I used a breeding cage.

Plant the very first plants (the ones on the foreground).

Finished! this is what it looks like from above and you can clearly see that the back of the tank has more substrate (the biggest plants will be placed in the back).

Ill post more after I bought the plants etc. I doesn’t look good right now! ;D
